Top Print Inspiration for Resort Fashion Trends 2023

The resort fashion trends for 2023 brought together a mix of past and future influences largely unified by feelings of ease, excitement, and joy. The past came through in the form of nostalgic and joyful 60s and 70s retro inspired prints that were paramount in shows like Etro, Moschino, and MSGM. Crochet and embroidery were also prominent across a number of collections adding a flair of craft and personal uniqueness. The future was seen the form of experimental distorted dyes seen in shows including Raquel Allegra and Roberto Cavalli. Bold, stylized, blown up, and art filled blooms and floral prints led the way at Carolina Herrera and Tanya Taylor. Color was also a key theme. Bright warm colors like red, yellow and orange took center stage while neutrals like black, white and grey were accents and added an element of sophistication and versatility. Bright dopamine filled pastels inject a feeling of joy, excitement, and play at Isabel Marant and Bronx and Banco.
